It was a usual weekend when I was exploring what new can I do for myself and I read a LinkedIn post calling for speakers for a virtual conference that will connect 100,000 women in technology through an interactive platform (I read that twice). While I was attracted by the mere idea of that, I took my chances of applying to speak at the WomenTech Global Conference 2020.

On the morning of June 1, I woke up to read that I was selected to be a speaker for this massive conference that turned out to be having attendees across 181 countries and as featured on Forbes, Bloomberg television, and CNET!

The virtual conference was hosted between June 10–12 with 124,469 attendees across three days. I was immensely proud to read the numbers, be a part of the conference, and be able to give back to the women in tech community.

And, writing a blog about it had to be a spontaneous thought.

What was the Women Tech Global Conference?
